Karuna Waghmare has been a fitness trainer for more than two decades and has a track record of representing India in Women's Physique competitions for more than six years. Growing up in a middle class family in Maharashtra, Karuna faced several challenges questioning her decision to pursue an unpopular sport for women in India.
